Who we are
ABMajor is the developer and operator of WorkC2C. Privacy enquiries can be sent to customerservices@workc2c.com.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as your name, email address, mobile number, password hash, profile photo, verification status and preferences. We also store content you choose to provide, including listings, approximate work location and postcode district, photographs, messages, offers, completion records, reviews, reports and blocked-user choices.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, publish listings, match local workers and employers, deliver messages and notifications, support reviews, prevent abuse, moderate content, respond to enquiries and operate WorkC2C. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Legal bases
We process information where necessary to provide the WorkC2C service and perform our agreement with you, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention and moderation. Optional email notifications are controlled by your preferences.
Service providers and international processing
We use service providers including Amazon Web Services for application hosting, storage and database services, and email infrastructure for verification and service notifications. Providers process information only to supply their services, subject to their safeguards and applicable data-protection requirements.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted or anonymised unless limited retention is reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups expire.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to processing, or obtain a portable copy. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first at customerservices@workc2c.com so we can help.
Security and changes
We use HTTPS, access controls, password hashing and operational safeguards. No system is completely secure. We may update this policy and will publish the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
